Special Ed

Dear MPS Special Education Department & Community members,

We are launching an official BLOG on the MPS website! This idea sprouted from the Special Education Advisory Committee that has been hard at work rejuvenating our Mission and Vision Statements to reflect the true spirit of our Department. The Committee would like to invite teachers, paraprofessionals, parents and anyone who is interested in sharing to submit items of interest to be posted on the MPS Blog . This forum will be used to publicize special events, promote social and academic happenings on our campuses, and provide a place to celebrate the accomplishments of our community. Please be advised that this Blog will be viewed by the public. No photographs of identifiable students will be posted. Staff should gain their school principal's approval BEFORE sending items to the blog. We ask that those who wish to post send details/photos to either

Ann Perzan (perzana@mpsct.org) or Amy Clarke (clarkea@mpsct.org) or Lynn Durham (durhaml@mpsct.org)

As the Blog gains momentum, we will be adjusting the posting procedure as needed.

Thank you all in advance for your patience and enthusiasm as we prepare to launch …
