Finding Your Way

Finding Your Way is a life skills program developed by the Youth Services Bureau to specifically address a need identified through the Juvenile Review Board. The design of the course will encourage active participation, utilizing group discussion and the experiential learning model to introduce and reinforce essential life skills such as: decision making, problem solving, communication, trust, teamwork and responsibility. Expected outcomes include the completion of a research essay and a student activity plan that identifies an individual plan of action for each student to become involved in positive leisure time activities. Students will also be introduced to key resources in the community that are available to them.
