Does your son or daughter require special meal accomodations?

If so, please contact your school's nurse or our Food Service Registered Dietitian, Amanda Byrd for assistance. We can ensure your child recieves the nourishment he or she needs!

Please have a physician complete and return the following documentation:

a. If your child has a disability and requires meal accomodations click here.

b. If you child does NOT have a disability and requires meal accomodations click here.

c. If your child requires a milk alternative due to an intolerance or allergy, please have your child's physician complete the form available in bullet (b) . Please keep in mind that, by law, we can only provide certain milk substitutions because certain nutrient standards need to be met. For more information on these limitations, please click here.



More about the Food Service Director!

Janet Calabro is the new Food Service Director for Middletown Public Schools. She brings 20 years of experience as a public school food service professional to our meal programs. Janet is a CT resident; completing her early education in Newington Public Schools and a graduate of the University of New Haven ; holding a B.S. in Food Service Management.  She has a passion for feeding children and enjoys interacting with students and their families to ensure a hospitable experience in our school cafeterias.
