Library Media Center Mission

Our Library Media Center strives to be a place of learning and intellectual development for Bielefield's students, teachers and community/family members.  Our goal is to support and enhance the curriculum, to use a variety of technologoies to locate information to support these curriculum needs, and to provide instruction in the skills needed for students to become lifelong learners.

In order to achieve these goals, the school Library Media Specialist empowers students to be:

  • critical thinkers
  • enthusiastic readers
  • skillful researchers and
  • ethical users of information
