SUMMER READING

 Middletown Public Schools
2010 Reading Lists

Summer Reading for 2010! - Learn about the MPS program!!

The summer presents an opportunity to help students be excited about reading.  It is a time for your child to make her/his own choice in reading.  While we understand it is important to take a break from the rigors of school life, we also realize that it is even more important to foster a life-long habit of reading.

Wherever you go and whatever activities you have planned, make sure your child has a book to take along.  If you are staying home, make those trips to the library part of your summer plans. Your support is critical in helping your children be the best readers they can be.  Read with your children or encourage them to spend time each day reading.

Thank you and have a wonderful summer.
