Dear Moody School Families,

Thank you for visiting our Moody School website.  I hope you get to know our school community through our many drop-down menu choices.

I am so happy to be a part of our Moody School community.  Our school has a dedicated staff, and it is wonderful to work alongside such caring individuals.  We are all committed to the academic success and character development of your children.  To that end, we are continuing our positive behavioral support program, "STARS".  The logo represents the following:

                        Show kindness

                        Try your best

                        Act responsibly

                        Respect Everyone

                        Stay Safe

Since I work with your children, I thought you may like to hear a little about my children!  I have three children in three different states. Our daughter is a Speech Language Pathologist. Our son-in-law, who graduated from West Point, returned from Iraq after two tours and is currently a Captain.  Our middle son graduated as an architect, and lives  in Chicago. Our youngest son is a senior at James Madison University in Virginia. We look forward to our family get togethers very much.

Here is a little background on me. In my 25 year teaching career, I’ve taught several elementary grades, worked through CREC as a literacy specialist and Reading Recovery Teacher Leader, taught at both UCONN and Quinnipiac as an adjunct professor, and was an assistant principal for  five years in Bristol, Connecticut.

I have an open door policy and encourage you to share celebrations and concerns at any time.

Please consider looking at our PTA website, and under the District Home page, our School Data Team agendas and progress monitoring.

Thank you for your interest in our school!

With warm regards,

(Mrs.) Yolande Eldridge
