Ms. Enza Macri, Principal

The Lawrence School is a K-5 elementary school in Middletown, CT.  We take great pride in the achievements of our students, both scholastically and socially. A variety of support programs are in place to address the diverse needs of the student community. The Lawrence School is very fortunate to have an active, engaged parent community that provides a variety of programs and activities for our students and school community.

A dedicated teaching staff continues to use comprehensive teaching and curriculum resources in order to assist the students in meeting the high academic standards set forth by the school district.  We are one of the many Reading First schools in Connecticut and will be implementing this initiative once again this coming school year.  We will continue our implementation of the new Mathematics program in grades 1-5 as well.

We hope you enjoy learning about The Lawrence School through our homepage.  It is updated on a regular basis. Please feel free to contact us anytime.

The 2010 - 2011 school year looks to be very busy.  The PTA and  our school community have planned some fun events for our students and their families.  As always, memories will be made for our students as they partake in all that is offered to them.
