Board of Education Budgets

AWARD:  The Middletown Public Schools is the recipient of the ASBO International Meritorious Budget Award for its 2006-2007 Adopted Budget.  It has the distinction of being the only school district in the State of Connecticut to ever receive this award.  This award is the highest award given to a governing body for school budgeting and is only bestowed to school systems which have met or exceeded the Meritorious Budget Award Program Criteria.  This program helps school systems build a solid foundation in the skills of developing, analyzing, and presenting a budget.   The Middletown Public Schools is using the format of the 2006-2007 Adopted Budget for all future budgets.

BOE Adopted Budget 

Memo dated June 9, 2011, from Nancy Haynes, Business Manager, detailing the $1,201,813 reduction to the Board of Education requested budget of $71,952,813.  This represents a 1.73% increase to the FY 2010-2011 BOE Budget. 

On June 7, 2011, the BOE approved its 2011-2012 Adopted Budget in the amount of $70,750,00.
