Preschool Program



 

Middletown Public Schools PreK Program will be holding an Open House for any interested  3 and 4 year old students for the 2013-2014 school year. Please join us on April 4, 2013 from 4:00-5:00 at Snow School.

 

Preschool Enrollment Timeline

Preschool is in the process of accepting 3 and 4 year old children residing in Middletown into the Snow School program for the 2012-2013 school year.   In order for your child’s application to be processed, you need to do the following… 

  •      Complete a preschool application
  •      Call Joyce Carey at (860) 638-1428 to schedule a screening
  •      Be sure to have the required documents including:
    •       Two recent paystubs (to determine the fee)
    •       Current immunization and health forms
    •       Copy of child’s birth certificate
    •       Proof of residency (copy of rent, mortgage, or lease)
    •       Copy of health insurance card

If your application is missing any of these items it cannot be processed and your child cannot be accepted into the program at this time.

Mail completed application packages to:
Middletown Board of Education
Pupil Services Office
311 Hunting Hill Avenue
Middletown, CT  06457

Once all paperwork is submitted and complete, Joyce will contact the parent/guardian to discuss the fee.

If your child’s required paperwork is completed by May 30, 2013, you will be notified by July 1, 2013, if your child is accepted into the program.

The Board of Education will continue to accept applications after May 30 and all during the summer. Your child will be placed on the waiting list and a screening will be scheduled.
