Teaching & Learning / Curriculum Programs

The Middletown Public Schools community can access a deeper understanding of curriculum programs by reviewing the Scope and Sequence, Planning Organizers, and Parent Curriculum Brochures (K-8) for each curricula program.

Please note that our curriculum is continuously evolving as we strive to create rigorous units of study that meet the needs of all learners and are aligned with the Connecticut Core Standards.

Scope & Sequence

Organized by grade level and/or subject matter, a course's Scope and Sequnce provides a brief overview of units of study that take place throughout the year. Please visit the appropriate curriculum page to review the Scope and Sequence for specific areas of study.

Unit Planning Organizers

Unit Planning Organizers are designed to provide a detailed overview of what students will study and learn in a specific unit. Please visit the appropriate curriculum page to review the Unit Planning Organizer for specific areas of study.
