Welcome to South Farms Nursery School

South Farms Nursery School is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. The program operates year round. Affordable rates offered to qualified families. South Farms serves children age three to five.

Preschool classroom

We provide a stimulating environment indoors and outdoors for children to explore the space around them. The staff facilitates the growth of gross motor skills. Activities provided in the center teach body awareness and nutritional practices, awareness of the senses and personal hygiene.

The staff helps children to build a foundation of emotional wellbeing. The children are taught to be aware of their feelings and to show appropriate outlets through their words. We aid in the development of positive self esteem of the child's family, classroom, community, and their world.

The majority of the child's day is centered around exploring centers such as art, science, math, language, and computer. These centers enhance question asking, imagination, and exploration and promote listening and communication skills.

We provide activities in which children learn to work together and individually. Children will learn social skills through these interactions and positive relationships with other children and the staff.

The goal of South Farms Nursery School is to provide a safe, educational, stable and fun environment for children regardless of race, religion or economic background. We will aid in the growth and development of children through active learning and direct hands-on experiences.
