Welcome to the Woodrow Wilson Middle School Music Department!!

The WWMS Music Department is pleased to host an 8th grade (and 7th graders who make Jazz Band and Select Choir) field trip for our dedicated band, strings, and chorus members to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey!!  This trip includes:

  • Participation in choral and instrumental adjudications. We perform for professional judges who score us from 1 to 100. From this score, we receive a rating  (Superior, Excellent, Good).

  • Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast at the hotel

  • Rooming one night in a hotel with three friends

  • A full day at Six Flags Great Adventure, including all rides and meals

This year's trip will take place May 12 and May 13, 2017.

Students at WWMS have the opportunity to take either Chorus, Band, Strings, or General Music.  Music classes meet every other day, either on cycle day A, or cycle day B.  Students who are members of the performing ensembles (band, chorus, strings) will expected to perform in several concert performances throughout the year, and may also have the opportunity to participate in our annual trip to Six Flags in New Jersey!
