PROJECT AWARE PROJECT MANAGER

Middletown Public Schools is looking for a Project Manager for the project Advancing Wellness and Resilience Education (AWARE) grant project.  This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading all project activities under the district's new Project AWARE five-year project.   Qualifications: Ct State Certification in the following areas:  Social Worker, Psychologist, Special Education, or School Counselor preferred.  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, have experience managing projects between educational institutions and local service systems and have expertise in the fields of education, mental health, and/or substance abuse.  Salary:  $75,000 to $82,000 based on experience and education, and health insurance included.  Position is a 214 day work year which includes 14 summer work days. Position is projected to be a five year position pending on grant funding which is provided under Project AWARE through the State Department of Education (SDE) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).   For more information or to apply, please go to our applications page.
