It is the Board's vision to have a partnership among students, staff, school family and community in offering access to and providing nutritious meals which are attractively presented at a reasonable price. The Middletown Public Schools Food Service Program prides itself on serving nutritious breakfasts and lunches to students and staff in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. For families who qualify, reduced price and free breakfasts and lunches are provided.

The Middletown Public Schools has policy for determining eligibility of children who may receive free or reduced-price meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP).
