Middletown Public Schools invites you to apply for one of four School Day Preschool Classrooms available for the 2026-2027 school year. These School Day Classrooms are housed at Bielefield Elementary School and Snow Elementary School. These will be in addition to the current part-day classrooms at Snow.
The School Day preschool program is held 5 days a week for 6.75 hours per day and follows the Middletown Public Schools calendar. All Middletown residents have access to the programs for four-year-olds (born before September 1, 2022) via the lottery process for the 2026-2027 school year. As we have more children enter into the lottery than have available spots, acceptance is not guaranteed. Families not accepted through the lottery may be placed on a waiting list.
Each family's preschool fee will be determined based on the Office of Early Childhood’s Sliding Fee scale. Transportation will be available based on income.
The lottery will close on 3/31/26 and late applications will not be accepted. Families will be notified of lottery results the week of 4/20/26. Families accepted into the program will be expected to complete registration by 5/8/26 in order to reserve the spot.
Please only complete one application per child.
