On Friday, November 18, 2022, our Chief Academic Officer Stacey McCann and Macdonough’s Instructional STEM Coach Lauren Mikulak were presented with a $5,000 check. Burlington’s Corporate Office adopts a local school each time they open a new store. They chose to adopt Macdonough with the opening of their new store in Cromwell. How long have you worked for MPS?
Dan: This is my 20th year working in the district.
What's something that you LOVE about your job?
Dan: I love designing new opportunities for students to learn and grow. We have an incredibly creative and thoughtful team of professionals. I love collaborating with them.
What's something that makes you HOPEFUL for the future of MPS and/or our students?
Dan: We as a district continue to innovate and strengthen our practices. I find the greatest hope when I see students finding success in classes and beyond.
What's something that you think might SURPRISE others about your job?
Dan: I am in schools daily to work with staff and students.
