Email
(Parents and Guardians of MPS Students Only)

The District sends direct emails regarding emergencies, transportation delays, updates, e-newsletters, and general information to parents and guardians. Building-level communication may also be issued via email.

Parents and Guardians are automatically subscribed based upon info in PowerSchool.

Phone Calls
(Parents and Guardians of MPS Students Only)

Calls during the school day or early morning are for emergencies or important information, such as school closings/delays or absence notices.

The District recognizes that calls for general info are often inconvenient, so this information is typically communicated through email, text message, and/or social media.

Parents and Guardians are automatically subscribed based upon info in PowerSchool.

Text Messages
(Parents and Guardians of MPS Students Only)

In cases of emergencies, transportation delays, and other important and/or urgent information, the District sends text messages to parents and guardians.

Because text messages are limited in the number of characters, these types of messages will often refer the recipient to email and/or website for additional information.

Parents and Guardians are automatically subscribed based upon info in PowerSchool.
