Summer 2025: Programs for Middletown Kids

As we move into the summer season, we want to share an important update about our summer programming. This year, Middletown Public Schools will not be able to offer the full range of programs we've had in previous years, including Summer Literacy Math and Science (SLAMS) for Elementary and Middle School students and Summer Pre-K Camp. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to provide those programs thanks to ARPA funds.

Our Extended School Year (ESY) services will still be available for students who qualify through their IEP, and MHS Credit Recovery Courses will be offered.

We know how valuable summer learning and enrichment opportunities are for our students and families, and we want to be sure you have access to alternative options available in our community.

Middletown is fortunate to have a range of local organizations offering engaging and supportive summer programs for students of all ages and interests. Below is a list of local summer programs that are open to Middletown students. These programs are run by community partners and offer both full-day and part-day options:

If you’re looking for summer activities, we encourage you to explore these opportunities and find the best fit for your child’s interests and your family's needs.

Thank you for being part of the Middletown community. We wish all our students and families a safe, fun, and enriching summer.
