Wesleyan Science Camp Continues ☀️

It's been a great week of camp activities for our students at Wesleyan University's Science Camp! 🔬🚀🧠

Our campers have been learning through fun and innovative ways, in and out of the classroom! Today's lesson was all about neurobiology, where students learned about the senses, and how our taste buds and receptors can be temporarily altered with the effects of what's called a "miracle berry." Suddenly, those sour lemons our students are trying aren't tasting so sour - they're sweet, in fact!

Did you know? 🤔 It's not just our taste buds that influence how we taste things; as much as 80-90% of the taste of foods and drinks actually come from the nose, and our sense of smell! 👃🏻
