MHS Freshman Summer Bridge & Caregiver Orientation

As we look ahead to the start of the new school year, we're also looking back and reflecting on all the great memories made during the summer! Members of the Middletown High School Class of 2030 were welcomed with plenty of events, leading up to the first day of school.

At Freshmen Caregiver Orientation, on Thursday, August 20, parents, caregivers, and incoming freshmen students toured their new school and scoped out the halls of MHS. They got a chance to meet their administrative team and counselors, learn about the many Middletown High School extracurricular activities, and even mingle with others, while eating Italian ice - the rain didn't bother anyone, either!

During the Freshman Summer Bridge Program, students had 4 days to connect with their school counselors, administrators, some teachers and visit community members. The days were filled with learning, joy, and activities to support the Grade 9 students in transitioning into high school. Students engaged in community building activities and games, designed vision boards, and made tie-dye t-shirts.

We are excited to welcome these new students to Middletown High School, and to a new start in their education! Welcome, Blue Dragons! 🔵🐉
