Bielefield School Students Showcase Art Projects at BOE Meeting

Students from Bielefield Elementary School had the opportunity to speak and showcase their creative and inspirational artwork before the Middletown Board of Education during the Board's regular meeting on Tuesday, October 13. The artwork created by these students was inspired by the novel Wonder by R.J. Palacio, and the use of Mr. Browne's Precepts as opportunities for students to reflect on their own choices and relationships to further inspire the type of person they want to become in the future.

Each student displayed their artwork and spoke on the decisions that inspired them to make such abstract and personal choices on their canvas, whether through color, stroke style, shape, texture, or composition.

We are very proud of our Bielefield students for allowing their creativity to thrive and for speaking about such important and advanced themes they have learned about in the classroom!
